Each core has its own step sequencer and effects chain. It allows for four independent sources which can be mixed via the recordable XY pad. This library features the multi-core organization found in other Sample Logic collections. If you are looking to expand your orchestral library collection while adding some realistic choir sounds this would be a great choice. You can also incorporate choir sounds using their amazing “orchestra complete” setting that allows for five sounds, any of which can be independently arpeggiated choir samples. The staccato instrument has a random button that will trigger a different syllable with every note. The instruments also feature selectable syllables and vowels. Choir patches include: Elven choir sustain vowels, female choir staccato and sustain, and male choir staccato and sustain. This is another orchestral library that includes some decent-sounding choir samples as a bonus category. ProjectSAM makes rock-solid libraries and offers amazing genre-specific settings that will inspire you immediately. It could be a great solution if you are looking to build or expand your other collections. What makes this an attractive choice for choir samples is that it comes with so many more instrumental sounds.

This category also has instruments that combine choir and orchestral sounds, including some pre-voiced chords. The playable category puts the Elven and Lumina choir instruments at your fingertips to easily lay down harmonies or melodic lines. There are also sweeping glissando and effects settings that can be useful for transitions and textures. The Elven choir in the texture category is particularly nice, and the Elven harmonies instrument adds other instruments including bass synth, creating a rich smooth blanket perfect for pad sounds. Some are pre-orchestrated with other instruments, but others are purely choir samples. This is really a full-featured cinematic set of instruments that includes some really great sounding choir samples.
KEYSBOARD SAMPLE CHOPS FULL VERSION
Note: all but one of these libraries (Eric Whitacre Choir), will require the full version of Kontakt. What follows is a list of the best collections I’ve come across. You may find some decent and usable choir-based instruments as part of larger orchestral collections or as dedicated libraries. Available libraries range from organic and natural-sounding choirs to heavily processed vocal-based textures. Whatever your mind state is when you sit to create, will come out in the track.Choir and vocal sounds can evoke a wide array of emotions from heroic & epic to dark & disturbed. There are some psychological aspects to making music. When I look at my Oxygen 8, I'm thinking "MUSIC" (strings, piano, melody). When I look at my MPD, I'm automatically thinking "BEATS" (drums, percussion, rhythm). Pick the equipment you feel good about and that motivates you when you look at it. Go to a Guitar Center or music store like it, where you can test the different equipment in the store. The key is to pick the equipment that works best for you, rather than just getting the latest or most popular thing out. You can still bang some beats out using both. It is still more of a preference thing, though. "Pressing" a key down has a different sound than "striking" a key. With the pressure sensitivity in both the MPD and the Oxygen 8, I have to be mindful that HOW I press or strike a key/pad will have an effect on the sound that is triggered. This may not seem like an advantage, but the feel of making music can actually come across in the music itself. The MPD advantage is the feel of striking the pads vs. In other programs, you have to do the cutting manually, which can be tedious sometimes.
KEYSBOARD SAMPLE CHOPS SOFTWARE
The thing about these two software programs is that they have an easy way to create slices by allowing you to draw slice markers and then have the program do the cutting for you. Before I started using Recycle, I used Zero-X BeatCreator. You can chop samples using almost any WAV editing software.
